Pat is responsible for marketing communications for soybeans and soybean seed treatments in the United States. In this role he develops and executes communications strategies for Pioneer®brand soybean products and technologies, including Pioneer Premium Seed Treatment and Roundup Ready 2 Xtend technology.
Pat has worked in a number of roles across the ag industry including sales, agronomy, trait strategy, program management in addition to marketing communications and public relations.
Eric Boeck is director of marketing for Encirca® services and leads operational marketing efforts for the Encirca® Yield Nitrogen Management Service and for the integration of precision ag technology subsidiaries.
Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University. He has worked for DuPont Pioneer for 21 years in both business unit and regionally focused roles. He previously served as a district sales manager, area manager, BU sales manager, and commercial unit lead before moving into the Encirca® services marketing director role in 2015.
Matt Clover is an Agronomy Research Manager with DuPont Pioneer based in Johnston, Iowa. Clover is responsible for helping guide on-farm trials planning, protocol development, strategic communications, analysis and communication of trial results. He leverages his education and experience in soil fertility to bolster expertise of the Agronomy Sciences team and support Pioneer agronomists and sales teams.
Clover also consults with Encirca® services leadership, product owners and supports Encirca Nitrogen and Encirca Fertility. Other responsibilities include helping link to external influencers including university personnel, non-governmental and industry organizations.
Clover came to Pioneer in 2017, after a 9-year career in the fertilizer industry with various roles in agronomy and research and development. His most recent role was with The Mosaic Company, where he served as Manager, Research and Alliances. In this role, he was responsible for leading and developing Mosaic’s global research program focusing on new product development. Clover earned his Ph.D. in soil fertility from Iowa State University, and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Illinois in Crop Sciences, and is a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSSc).
Lori Meyer is the Seed Services and Stewardship Manager at DuPont Pioneer. Meyer, who grew up on a farm near Bennet, Nebraska, graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a degree in agriculture with an emphasis in ag economics and ag education.
Meyer began her career in ag with Ciba-Geigy, now known as Syngenta, where she served as a sales rep in their ag chemicals division, an area in which she spent the majority of her career.
With her educational background, Meyer spent time teaching agriculture before becoming a Special Market Supervisor for FMC Corporation
Meyer then became the very first contract promoter in the U.S., followed by the first sales effectiveness manager for Pioneer.
Prior to becoming the product manager – seed applied technology, Meyer was the seed services and stewardship manager.
Ryan Myers currently serves as the U.S. Category Lead for DuPont Pioneer. After earning his Bachelor of Science from Northwest Missouri State, Ryan worked as the Corn Specialist and as a Regional Sales Manager for Agrigold.
Myers, who grew up on a small family farm in Creston, Iowa, began his career with Pioneer in 2009 where he worked as an Account Manager, Territory Planning Manager for Iowa and Missouri, and as an Area Manager, before being named the U.S. Corn Category Lead in 2017.
Myers enjoys helping farmers maximize profit and improve efficiency on every acre. He and his wife, Megan, have two daughters, 10-year-old Gretchen and nine-year-old Maggie.
