DuPont Pioneer and its Sales Agencies Give $20,000 in Grants in Eastern Dakotas, Western Minnesota
Grants support community programs for youth education and farm
“These joint grants are part of the ongoing Pioneer commitment to improving farm safety and supporting the education of the next generation of agriculture leaders,” said Jamie Williamson, DuPont Pioneer lead for the commercial unit covering eastern North and South Dakota and western Minnesota. “We live and work in these communities, and are proud to join our sales agencies in support for the endeavors of these groups. We hope that we can increase the region-wide impact by spreading these grants across our entire territory.”
Groups receiving grants support education and safety efforts in a variety of ways, from fire rescue safety equipment for the Hope, N.D., Fire Department and the Kennebec Volunteer Fire Department, grass fire equipment for the Presho, SD Volunteer Fire Department, electronic road/helicopter landing flares for the City of Hitterdal, Minn. Volunteer Fire Department; CRP education for the Fessenden, N.D. Ambulance Service Directory; first responder vehicle equipment, Kathryn, N.D. Fire Department; and science education materials for Irene Wakonda High School.
